Is Sports channel the most preferred at a Bar?

I wonder if this is true. Anyone who relates to this? My judgement about sports channel played in mute with loud music in background as the best setting to keep guests in a trans mode. Keep drinking and talking.

I hardly tried any of the other bars in the city I live in. So maybe I am wrong.

I am sure there is a science in action- visuals are sports and loud music in background. I hardly make sense of any one thing completely. A momentary pause at the screen if my favourite sport is played. Or, an extended ear to the music played- on the lyrics- which is usually English. For we Indians, English is a second language and still is primary one to be played at bars. So a momentary attention is needed. This is unlike for hindi Bollywood songs, if at all they were played at the bars.

I am usually alone at the bar blogging. So here is a hint. I am glued to my phone typing what I feel like sharing while music plays in the background.
